The Illinois State Society of Washington, DC and Lincoln Group of the District of Columbia will offer a new panel discussion titled “The Case for Honoring Lincoln.” Join them as they explore the events of Abraham Lincoln’s life and why statues of Abraham Lincoln should be saved. The panel discussion will take place on Tuesday, 13 April 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EDT.
Panel members will include Rod Ross, former archivist for the National Archives; David Kent, author of Lincoln: The Man Who Saved America; John O’Brien, President of the Lincoln Group of the District of Columbia; and Debbie Jackson, Black Women Playwrights’ Group.
