Wednesday, May 22, 2019 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Visitors Center Optional tours before the event starting at 4:00 p.m. Please join us in celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Conveyance of the New Salem site from William Randolph Heast and Millicent Hearst to the people of the State of Illinois and to discuss the future of the site and efforts to restore the village to its former glory. The event will include remarks from: Kathryn Harris and Guy Fraker – Co-chairs, A.L.A.
